2008 AATS/USTA QuickStart TENNIS
QuickStart Tennis is here!
QuickStart
is a new game based approach to tennis
to help kids 10 and under learn and play the game. It
is engaging, exciting, and fun. To make learning easier, smaller racquets are used, along with foam and/or
low pressure balls. The net height has
been adjusted. Short courts are used. Scoring systems have been modified. In QuickStart kids learn as they play.
QuickStart Tennis is
for two age groups – 10 and under; and 8 and under.
Kids will learn in team practices, and apply
what they learn in team matches. Every
participant gets to play. No one is left
out.
The Second 8 Session Season begins on July 14.
Sessions will be held at County Park and
School courts on weekdays after school and on Saturdays.

Cost is $70.00 for the season which ends on
August 17. Each participant receives: 8 sessions – of fun practice and team
matches; Guidance of a specially trained coach; membership in the USTA (if a
member, cost will be adjusted); A
USTA t-shirt; USTA Smash magazine. Scholarships are available.
